Last November 15, 2012, the celebrity couple Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel finally tied the knot at Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It was a unique ceremony, a surprise proposal+wedding in a shot all planned by the ever loving groom.
Carmina thought of that day as just an ordinary day in which she was to shoot a TV commercial with her long term partner Zoren. She was convinced that the wedding dress she was asked to wear that day was just part of the TV commercial. Zoren even staged a fight with one crew member to distract Carmina. Watch the video below. She didn’t know it was going to be the most special day of her life as a woman for she was proposed and wed in that same night. It was all a clever and amazing plan by Zoren made possible with the help of their family and friends, the crews and most especially the two cute advisers – their twin children Mavy and Cassy.
Their wedding made a lot of noise on TV and on the internet. Their fans including me were all happy about the news. I’ve read a lot about that news online last month but it was only today that I watched their proposal+wedding video. It was really a clever idea by the groom. I heard Zoren was asked what if Carmina said “no” to his unique marriage proposal. Since they were living together for many years and even have twin children already, he sure was sure Carmina wouldn’t turn him down. Carmina, although shocked, accepted the proposal wholeheartedly. She was teary-eyed as she walked down the aisle after that. They just love each other and that love is obvious on their faces as they went on with the wedding. They are indeed the perfect two, as what their daughter Cassy said.
I watched the video over and over again and I couldn’t help myself but cry everytime. I am moved by the groom’s intention. He really made that day a very special day for his bride because everything that Carmina likes or hopes for in a wedding was materialized. One of the most especial things that day for Carmina was being married in the presence of her father, who is said to be the only person she has left. Another special thing for her was the cherry blossoms (see and know that story it in the video) that Zoren prepared just for her.
